At a major FM CG organization we are implementing Oracle transport management and integrating with SAP landscape. However in the initial discussion it's coming to the light that many data points needed for optimization are not available or maintained in SAP. It's too early to say what's the glitch but I am curious to understand and understand the experience/inputs from larger SAP community.
I intend to keep this blog updated as we progress through various stages of this implementation.

Delivery (I doc ) created in SAP is interfaced to OTM via XI , Delivery change is also interfaced to OTM (change pointers) . Delivery change is allowed in SAP til the OTM planning run. Deliveries are locked during planning run (OTM sends list of Deliveries and those are locked in SAP custom table).
Currently we are analyzing whether any performance issues will come or not, We are positive that there will not be any issue.
Are we missing something?
